 12:30 p.m.- Press Conference in the Dirksen Senate Office Building Room G50
( Dirksen Senate Office Building, located on the corner of 1st Street and Constitution Avenue, NE).

1:30 p.m.-Angels in Adoption Celebration , where you receive a hand crafted, one of a kind Angel in Adoption™ pin and a certificate signed by your Member of Congress.
(same location as the Press Conference in the Dirksen Senate Office Building Room G50)

5:45 p.m.-Registration for Gala begins at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center
( 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC; the registration table is located directly through the 14 th Street entrance)

 6:00 p.m.-Gala Reception and Silent Auction
( Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center, Atrium Ball Room)

 7:00 p.m.-Gala dinner

About the Events

Press Conference and Awards Ceremony
To officially begin this year’s celebration, a Press Conference and Angels in Adoption Celebration honoring the 2007 Angels in Adoption™ will be held in the Dirksen Senate Office Building Room G50, located at the corner of 1st Street and Constitution Avenue, NE.  You are invited to attend the Press Conference at 12:30 p.m.  Immediately following the Press Conference is the Angels in Adoption Celebration where you will be presented with a certificate and a one-of-a-kind hand-crafted Angels in Adoption™ pin. We advise that you arrive no later than 1:00 p.m. for registration as the Awards Ceremony begins promptly at 1:30 p.m. The closest Metro stop is “Union Station” on the Red line; parking is available in the Union Station Parking Garage. Please wear professional attire as you will be presented with your Angels in Adoption™ certificate by a Member of Congress and have a commemorative picture taken.

Gala
The festivities will continue with the Angels in Adoption™ Gala located in the Atrium of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. The registration table is located directly through the 14 th Street, NW entrance. Registration opens at 5:45 p.m. with the Reception and Silent Auction starting at 6:00 p.m. As an Angel in Adoption™ award recipient, you will receive 2 complimentary ticketsfor the Gala. Additional tickets may be purchased for family and friends for the cost of the dinner, which is $100 for adults and $50 for children under 18 who would like a children’s menu. Business attire is to be worn at this event.
