Tips for finding your Angel in Adoption™

Who Can Be an Angel in Adoption™?


Members of Congress are invited to select an individual, couple, or organization from their state or district who has made an extraordinary contribution on behalf of children in need of homes. These entities can include, but are not limited to, juvenile and family court judges, social workers, adoption advocates, foster or adoptive parents, non-profit organizations, and advocacy groups. Members can choose any entity they wish to honor with the Angels in Adoption™ award.

Resources for locating an Angel in Adoption™


CCAI is prepared to provide any assistance your office may need in locating a deserving Angel in AdoptionTM from your state or district. Some ideas of where to look include:

  • Foster Care and Adoption-related agencies in your area
  • State or local Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Children and Families Services, etc. offices
  • Adoption caseworkers in MOC district offices
